The snipping of scissors, gluey cobwebs on little fingers, glittery eyebrows, crazy smiles, laughter that fills the eyes as butterflies take flight, the ‘AAH’ that escapes the lips as wonders come alive, this is the symphony that art & craft creates.

Art &Craft is about Imagination and Creativity: It is a process that transforms a sheet of paper into an airplane, or the metamorphoses balls of cotton into clouds. It is about breathing life into the inanimate, thus, achieving the impossible.

A sense of accomplishment and wonder fills the child. It has been found that, more than play, children have a love of activity, a love of work, as it focuses the whole being and lends a sense of purpose.

At Rajbala Foundation we use Art & Craft, not just as a means of learning with students in rural areas, but also as a holistic therapy for children suffering from life limiting conditions in hospitals.
