DESCRIPTION:Program: UDAAN (उड़ान) \nRadio: Gurgaon Ki Awaj 107.8Mhz FM radio \nSummary: Udaan is a live phone-in program\, dealing with everyday mental health issues and is aired every Tuesday at 11:00 am. It is a joint effort of Gurgaon Ki Awaaz (Community Radio) and the Rajbala Foundation. The topic of discussion this Tuesday dealt with tensions arising in children and parents due to admissions\, especially after Grade 12. Peer pressure\, faced both by children and their parents\, choice of institutions and subjects\, an unclear career path\, are some of the issues facing a family. Advice was given by qualified & experienced psychologist from the foundation regarding coping mechanisms\, with emphasis on building a relationship of trust and openness between the children and their parents.
